I. NOMINATION
Your home university should nominate you first via email (erasmus@barczi.elte.hu) until 10 May for the autumn semester and 10 November for the spring semester.
II. ONLINE APPLICATION
Online application: REGISTRATION
Deadline of application is 30 May for the autumn semester and 30 November for the spring semester.
III. LEARNING AGREEMENT
Exchange students need to list the courses they wish to take in their Online Learning Agreement until 15 June for the autumn semester and until 15 December for the spring semester.
We no longer want to circulate papers with scanned copies of signatures. The Online Learning Agreement has been developed by the European University Foundation for the 21st century mobile student. It allows the Learning Agreement to be prepared online, shared with both the home and host universities and be signed using a touchscreen. Less paper. Less time wasted.

Taking the courses below is mandatory for all incoming mobility students:
for autumn semester: Field Visits - Introduction to special education in Hungary (ERA-1119) and Preamble to special needs education 1. (F-EN25-SNE-009)
for spring semester: Introduction to special education in Hungary (F-EN23-2002)
There is no lower or upper limit of how many courses or how many credits you might follow during your exchange semester regarding your program.
All of our courses are offered for BA and MA students as well (in Neptun you will only see them as BA courses).
Also, you can choose a maximum of 10 credits (ECTS) from programs other than your own, including courses from other faculties, sport courses or the General Hungarian Language Course.

V. HUNGARIAN LANGUAGE COURSE
Our institution offers Hungarian language and culture courses in both the autumn and spring semesters. There are courses for all levels from complete beginners (A1) to proficient level (C2). If you are interested, please click here.

VII. ORIENTATION DAYS
The faculty orientation program will occur on 02/02/2026 (MON) 10:00-15:00 at the faculty's main building (1097 Budapest, Ecseri út 3. room: A/67 - MAP).
