Dr. Judit Gombás, associate professor at the Institute for the Methodology of Special Needs Education and Rehabilitation at ELTE BGGYK, has been elected as a member of the executive board and representative for Europe by the Global Executive Board of the International Council for Education of People with Visual Impairment (ICEVI).

The goal of ICEVI Global is to support access to inclusive, high-quality education for visually impaired children, youth, and adults worldwide.

Its leadership consists of professionals with extensive experience in the field of education for visually impaired people, whose work combines knowledge of regional characteristics with a global perspective. ICEVI's governance structure ensures representation from all seven world regions, further strengthened by strategic partnerships with leading organizations in the field of inclusive education for people with visual impairments.
